Booker T. Washington Middle School

 Electronic Device Policy

Student cell phones may not be visible at any point during the school day. The faculty and staff members of Washington Middle School are enacting a “We see it, we take it” enforcement policy. Confiscated cell phones will have to be picked up by parents/guardians. Students who refuse orders to give up their phones will be subject to more severe disciplinary measures. Additionally, the administration advises students that devices such as iPods should be left at home -- and that the school will not be held responsible for any music players that are lost or stolen

v Teachers are not to hold electronic devices until the end of class or the end of the day. These items should be turned into an administrator immediately.
